Your new Aston Martin will come with three keys: a main key (identified by the white wings icon), a spare key, and an emergency key. Your spare key is an exact copy of your main key, and is recommended for use during valet service in Jupiter.

Your main key and spare key perform the same operations:

  • Keyless entry – If your vehicle comes with keyless entry, you’ll be able to get in and out of your vehicle without pulling out your key. To unlock your car, simply push on the front of the door handle. Lock it back up by pressing on the back of the handle.
  • Global opening – By pressing down and holding the unlock button, you can unlock the doors, open the windows, and roll down the roof to your Aston Martin. Press and hold again to lock everything back up.
  • Single door lock/unlock – To lock or unlock only one door at a time, hold down both the lock and unlock buttons for a few seconds. This will allow you to toggle between the individual doors.

If you wish to conserve your Aston Martin key’s battery, double click the lock button to temporarily disable it. When you’re ready to drive through Palm Beach Gardens, press any key to reactivate.

How to Start Your Aston Martin with a Dead Key Battery

You can still drive your Aston Martin in Wellington even with a dead key battery. To start your vehicle:

  1. Remove the back of the key fob.
  2. Press the release button to remove the key cap. This will allow you to plug in the key.
  3. The key dock is located between the cupholders in the center console. Insert your key, and start your drive.

Keeping your emergency key in a safe location can help you access your vehicle should your battery die and you do not have a replacement battery handy. Find the lock cylinder hidden behind the driver’s side door handle. Pull back the handle, and insert the emergency key to unlock the door.

Emergency keys take several weeks to replace, so be sure to find a secure storage spot to keep it from getting lost or damaged.
