The brand’s historic 110th anniversary will be celebrated in a way that caters to speed lovers. The brand will launch a new, strictly limited, exclusive Aston Martin model at some point in 2023. Although no details have been released, Aston Martin says it will release the start of its next generation of cars.
Several cars have already been rebooted, and the ultra-plush Valkyrie hypercar is shown in photos alongside the 1923 Razor Blade racer that broke speed records during races 100 years ago thanks to its aerodynamic styling.
Aston Martin has more grand plans at prominent races throughout the world in 2023. There’s the F1 British Grand Prix, of course, on Aston Martin’s home turf. The automaker revealed an Aston Martin 110th anniversary logo appearing on the F1 racer driven by Lance Stroll and two-time F1® World Champion Fernando Alonso. Known as the ‘110 Iconic Years’ crest, it features Aston Martin’s renowned wings logo, redesigned in 2022 as part of a rebranding push for the automaker.
F1 is important to the Aston Martin brand, as potential customers are more likely to buy an Aston Martin vehicle based on the race team’s performance. To move forward with the racing team’s goals, 2023 marks the first phase of construction completed on the Aston Martin Aramco Cognizant Formula One™ Team’s new state-of-the-art, 400,000-square-foot campus at Silverstone.
The facility is part of a grand technological collaboration between race and road, thanks to a series of cutting-edge wind tunnels and simulator technology. The facility is set to be completed by the end of 2024, the offshoot of which will benefit luxury vehicles manufactured for customers in the future.
The automaker will also give aficionados a peek at the brand’s next 110 years at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, as well as the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, the centerpiece of Monterey Car Week.
