One of the best parts about the West Palm Beach area is that some of the country’s best Mexican restaurants call it home. Whether you’re a traditionalist or a contemporary culinary adventurer, there’s something for everyone. Here are a few of our favorite places to enjoy great Mexican food near West Palm Beach:

For some of the most authentic Mexican cuisine you’ll ever have, head over to Montezuma. You’ll find plenty of fajitas, enchiladas, sopas, burritos, shrimp creations, and more at this delicious restaurant. Finish off your dinner with a tres leches cake or flan to make it a perfect experience from start to finish. This is a great restaurant to take the whole family for a Mexican dinner.

If it’s atmosphere you’re looking for, you’ll find it at Table 427. This restaurant is one of our favorites, and you’ll see why after one visit. Table 427 has won awards for its signature Mexican cuisine creations. The menu is constantly changing with creative spins on classic dishes. Start with an appetizer of octopus in pineapple puree, and then move on to interesting entrees such as the ribeye steak chalupa, duck in pipian seed sauce, or the fish of the day in guava sauce. If you want a chef-guided, five-course dinner, sign up for the No Menu Experience.

Torero’s is another great option if you’re looking for fantastic traditional Mexican food. The menu is massive and full of your old favorites and new experiences. Whether you pick and choose combination plates, or go for a classic Mexican dinner just like your abuela used to make, you can’t go wrong at Torero’s. Torero’s takes pride in perfecting the tried-and-true Mexican classics.

Rocco’s Tacos and Tequila Bar

Rocco’s Tacos is a great restaurant to enjoy top-notch Mexican food with friends. Order one of the must-have signature cocktails, and dig into the great menu items. The restaurant has everything from chile rellenos to fish tacos and enchiladas to tortas. Show up for the deals of the day, or order your favorite—whichever route you choose, you can expect an unforgettable and fun dinner at Rocco’s.

If you’re looking for a casual, light place to have lunch or dinner, head to Cholo Soy Cocina. The shop doesn’t mess around when it comes to tacos, but the Cholo rice bowls and El Cholazo Burguer are tasty choices, as well. If you go to Cholo Soy Cocina, you’ll miss out if you don’t try some of the dessert churros, which come with a dulce de leche dip that will make you want to go back soon. With plenty of beer and wine options to boot, this restaurant offers one of the most fun dining experiences in the area.

These places are great restaurants to start exploring West Palm Beach’s fantastic Mexican food scene. These are just a few of the fantastic Mexican food spots in the area, so let us know which are your favorites. We’re always looking for something new to try.
